In fheroes2, the AI uses far too many spell points in combat when it is not necessary to win.
Sandro has good Attack, Defense, Spell Power stats and a large number of spell points.

He also has artifacts related to Summon Elemental spells, and he knows the "Summon Earth Elemental" spell.



This is not a reason to use these spell points without counting when it is not necessary to win the combat.
Here in instant combat mode, the AI uses a considerable number of spell points to "win" the combat.

And Sandro doesn't disappear from the adventure map just because he has the secondary skill Necromancy which allows him to generate a few Skeletons at the end of the combat.
Otherwise, he would disappear from the adventure map because he only has summoned Earth Elementals left in his ranks at the end of the combat.
In automatic combat mode, it's the same.

Sandro only manages to win because of the summoned Earth Elementals and doesn't disappear from the adventure map because of the Skeletons generated by the Necromancy.
In both cases, in instant combat mode and in automatic combat mode, Sandro loses all the standard troops of his starting army.
This could have been avoided by using the "Summon Earth Elementals" spell sparingly and the Vampire Lords ability to reanimate themselves in an efficient way.
