This is the first installment of the AirBnB clone. It created a command line interface for the clone. With this CLI, you are able to interact with all the different components you may think would be necessary when picking an AirBnB rental (i.e. amenities, cities, states, reviews, etc.).
File | Description |
---|---|
base_model |
This file creates an instance of the class BaseModel. It defines all common attributes/methods for other classes. Attributes include: id (string): a string with an uuid when an instance is created, created_at: assigned with the current datetime when an instance is created, updated_at: assigned with the current datetime when an instance is created and it will be updated every time the object gets changed |
file_storage |
This file creates an instance of the class FileStorage. It serializes instances to a JSON file and deserializes JSON file to instances. Attributes include: __file_path (private, string): that represents the path to the JSON file, __objects (dictionary): initialized empty, but will store all objects by class name and id. |
