I believe that Central is capable of previewing the form in Web Forms even before the setting is toggled. I think we have that set up already (that's how the W+F shortcut works). Instead of redirecting the user to https://getodk.org/web-forms-preview/, would it more convenient to show the user the form preview in Central using Web Forms? |

@nicoleorlowski @alyblenkin I believe that initially we were going to send users to the general preview site but I think if we can preview the specific form in another tab that would work well. I'm slightly concerned that users might think they've made the switch to Web Forms when they see that preview because we don't mark it as a preview but hopefully the link text is clear enough to mitigate that. |

Previewing their specific form works too, but I agree it might not be clear to the user if they've switched or not. A while back we considered ideas around adding a message to indicate you're previewing, editing or viewing a form. The other upside to taking them to the preview page is they can keep coming back to that site and try out different forms. |
