Gargoyle is an Interactive Fiction player for Windows, macOS and Linux, designed to support all the major (parser-based) interactive fiction formats and provide a consistent, 8788 high-quality presentation. It is built on:
- garglk, a high-quality user-interface based on the glk specification
- A number of IF interpreters, updated to use the glk interface
To obtain a copy of Gargoyle, you can download an official release, install a pre-built package, or download the source-code and compile it yourself.
If you already have an existing work of interactive fiction you'd like to play, it may need some preparation to work with Gargoyle.
