Overview

After loading Delimited Text Layer (like CSV files) in QGIS an user cannot edit and interact with it as a vector layer at all. This simple plugin creates Temporary Vector Layer from Delimited Text Layer just in a few seconds that allows you to add, delete, move or edit any feature you want.

1. Download this repo as a ZIP-file (instruction) 2. Open QGIS. Go to Plugins->Manage and Install Plugins...->Install from ZIP 3. Select the downloaded ZIP-file and click Install Plugin. 4. That's it. You are awesome!

GeoCSV is available in QGIS Python Plugins Repository now!

So, just go to the 'Plugins -> Install Plugins...' in QGIS and install it in a few seconds.

Usage

  1. Add Delimited Text Layer via Layer->Add Layer->Add Delimited Text Layer...

  1. Open GeoCSV plugin from Toolbar

  1. Select a Delimited Text Layer you want to transform to Temporary Vector Layer

  1. Click "OK"

  2. Enjoy!
