Description:

The associated pull request esphome/esphome#1291 adds support for the ATC MiTemperature custom firmware for the Xiaomi LYWSD03MMC Temperature/Humitity sensors. This patch adds documentation for the new atc_mithermometer component and updates the bind key generation procedure in case the Xiaomi stock firmware is used.

Related issue (if applicable): fixes esphome/feature-requests#877

Pull request in esphome with YAML changes (if applicable): esphome/esphome#1291

Checklist:

  • Branch: next is for changes and new documentation that will go public with the next ESPHome release. Fixes, changes and adjustments for the current release should be created against current.
  • Link added in /index.rst when creating new documents for new components or cookbook.
