Slingo

Web application aiming at diminishing the communication barrier for deaf or hearing impaired people.

Slingo uses deep learning with image recognition in order analyse and translate sign language from visual user input.

The application provides both a beginner British Sign Language (BSL) course as well as a BSL to text translation service.

To install the required dependencies run "npm install" in the root, client, and server folders.

To run the web application in a development environment run "npm run dev"

Application developed for the ESP (Experimental Systems Project) at the University of Bath in a team of 7 using Agile Scrum Methodology.
