You are using ruby 1.8.5 hence the error message It runs on Red Hat 6 machines running ruby 1.8.7. There are some incompatibilities between 1.8.5 and 1.8.7. I believe it would be a better use of time to port it to Python or Perl than figure out how to get it running on 1.8.5. |

Just make sure that your efforts make it easy to run on redhat 5.5. |
