We have a project where a subpart uses todos quite heavily, and i'd just like to ignore that folder

Hey @C0DK, git grep unfortunately doesn't support easy command line switch like --exclude but it may be possible using a pathspec that includes or excludes the specific paths as part of the pattern to match. I can see how this would be a useful feature, feel free to submit a PR!

I hadn't really looked at your source code. I thought of creating a pull request but never got around to it because life 🤷🏼‍♂️
