Follow the steps to submit your project in the hackathon:

• Register for Hacktoberfest.

• Sign up for the Hackathon (this must be done by all your team members).

• Create a new branch/fork with the same name as your project title.

• Visit the submissions/ directory and create a copy of the template_submission.md with the same filename as your project title.

• Enter all the necessary details as per the template.

• Create a pull request.

Note: Step 2 must only be completed by only one member of your team if you have multiple team members.

All participants must agree to the Rules and Code of Conduct to participate in the Hackathon.

1. What is the maximum team size?

   • 1 - 4 people

2. Is it mandatory for all hackers to register on the Hackathon Sign Up page?

   • Yes, this is mandatory for all hackers, even if you are a part of a team. Any participants who make submissions without registering will be disqualified from the final prizes.

3. Do I have to use any specific Appwrite product during the hackathon?

   • You can use any Appwrite product that you like. However, it is mandatory to use Appwrite Cloud for the hackathon. You can grab some Cloud credits for the hackathon by clicking here.

4. Does everyone on a winning team receive a prize?

   • If there is more than one member on a winning team, each member will receive the specified prize.

5. Are there any specific themes that a project must fit within?

   • No, there are not any specified themes. Hackers are free to build on whatever idea they like.

6. Who should I reach out to in case I need help building with Appwrite?

   • You can ask for help from the Appwrite team and our community of developers in our Discord server.

7. How can I learn how to build with Appwrite?

   • You can:

8. Do I need a debit/credit card to redeem free Appwrite Cloud credits for this hackathon?

   • Yes, you need a debit/credit card to redeem the free Cloud credits. However, your card will not be charged as long as there are credits in your account.
