Code Review
This PR aims to update a URL in the README.md
file, which is a good initiative to keep documentation current. My review found that while the updated URL is structurally different from the original, it still results in a redirect. I've provided a suggestion to point directly to the final destination URL. Additionally, a minor point about the PR description has been noted for future consideration.
Summary of Findings
- URL Still Redirects: The updated URL in
README.md
(line 3) still redirects to another page. It's recommended to use the final destination URL (https://developer.android.com/ai/exclusives/gemini-nano/experimental
) to provide a direct link and avoid unnecessary redirects. - PR Description Missing: The pull request description is empty. For better traceability and context for reviewers and future developers, it's good practice to include a brief summary of the changes, even for minor updates like this one. (Severity: low, not commented inline due to review settings).
Merge Readiness
This pull request attempts to correct a URL in the documentation. However, the proposed change still leads to a redirect. I've suggested updating the URL to its final, non-redirecting destination. I recommend addressing this medium
severity suggestion to improve the link's directness and accuracy before merging. As an AI, I am not authorized to approve pull requests; please ensure this change is reviewed and approved by team members.

Thanks for updating the link! I noticed that the new URL https://developer.android.com/ai/gemini-nano/experimental
currently redirects to https://developer.android.com/ai/exclusives/gemini-nano/experimental
.
To avoid the redirect and ensure users land directly on the most current page, would it be better to use the latter URL, which appears to be the final destination?
