EOM (Eye On Metadata) is a free and open-source desktop application for viewing, exporting, and removing metadata from various media types including images, videos, audio, and PDF files.

🛠️ Note: Current support is limited to image files. Future updates will include support for videos, audio, and PDFs.
It supports multiple formats and is built to be lightweight, efficient, and user-friendly.
Want to view metadata? Here's how:
- Click on Extract
- Choose the extraction type (single file or directory)
- Select the file(s) or folder
- Click the Extract button
Metadata will be displayed in an organized format.
To clean up media metadata:
- Click on Remove
- Choose the remove type (file or directory)
- Select the file(s) or folder
- Click on Remove
EOM will strip metadata safely while keeping your files intact.
You can export metadata to a file on your system:
- Click Extract
- Choose extract type
- Select the file(s) or folder
- Click Export
- Set the save path and file name
- Hit Save
Your metadata will be stored in a file for later use.
