Hey there! Thanks for checking out my portfolio 😄! My name is Muhammad Kamil, and I am an Econometrician turned Data Scientist. I have a Master's Degree in Econometrics from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, with a focus on quantitative economics.
Currently employed at Teradata Global Consulting, a multinational cloud database and analytics provider.
I develop advanced ML algorithms using a variety of tools such as SQL, and Python, to develop end to end machine learning pipelines for a variety of data science business use cases.
I also use docker and kubernetes for model deployment and productionization.
I have over 5 years of experience in R, SQL, Python, Data Science, and Machine Learning.
I have worked extensively with SQL databases such as MySQL, Postgres, and Teradata.
I have a great depth of familiarity with a wide variety of data science tools such as pandas, numpy, scikitlearn, tensorflow, pytorch etc.
I have worked as a Consultant Data Scientist for a plethora of clients, offering services in economic data collection, data cleaning, econometric modeling, machine learning, deploying machine learning algorithms into production, data visualization, and developing dashboards in Rshiny.
I have worked with Schlumberger, TetraPak, American Airlines, Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, UMass Amherst, and several other organizations.
