Summary of the Pull Request

Further improve the filtering of the windows for FancyZones. Clean up the code and make it more straightforward.

For testing:

If running v 0.14:

  • Download fancyzones.zip and extract the archive.
  • Shut down PowerToys.
  • Put the fancyzones.dll in C:\Program Files\PowerToys\modules\ folder. Overwrite the DLL that is already in that folder.
  • Run PowerToys.
  • PowerToys should now work correctly with all apps and with Move newly created windows to their last known zone option enabled.

Other versions if you have already uninstalled 0.14:

  • Download PowerToys.zip and extract the archive.
  • Shut down PowerToys.
  • Put all the files from the archive in C:\Program Files\PowerToys folder. Overwrite all the files.
  • Run PowerToys.
  • PowerToys should now work correctly with all apps and with Move newly created windows to their last known zone option enabled.

I can't test it because yesterday I deinstalled V14 and installed V13 - and V14 is no longer downloadable

@KiwiGonzales the PowerToys.zip contains the entire distribution. Replace C:\Program Files\PowerToy folder with the content of this archive and you will be running a fixed (hopefully) v0.14

worked:

  • override to version 14
  • open Outlook with the option set
