I'm leaning towards renaming this to "Homelead HG9901 soil moisture/temp/light level sensor" with a. model of Homelead-HG9901 as the OEM for all rebrands seems to be

This is now merged with @inonoob's code from #3194 and should be final.

Can confirm, this is working! Testing on 4 soil meters, all reporting and the IDs are correct
