This is a simple simulation of reflection coefficient on a transmission line (with variable length, 0, lamda, lamda/2, lamda/4) at frequency f =300 MHz.
The load is ZL = 75-j20 (Capacitor with C = 26.5258 pF, Xc = -20j at f = 300 MHz) .
When the length of the transmission line is 0.1mm, Expected result; Zin = ZL = 75-j20. Its is same in Qucs and CST.
When the length of the transmission line is 1000mm (one wavelength), Expected result; Zin = ZL = 75-j20. Its is same in Qucs and CST.
When the length of the transmission line is 500mm (half wavelength), Expected result; Zin = ZL = 75-j20. Its is same in CST but Qucs give a different result Zin approx. zero and S11 = -1, but the arrow is pointing to S11 = 0.
When the length of the transmission line is 250mm (half wavelength), Expected result; Zin/Zo = 1/(ZL/Zo) = 1/(1.5-j0.4) = 0.6224+j0.1660 and Zin = 31.1+j8.3. Its is same in CST but Qucs give a different result Zin = 6.12-j21.3.

How is this a Xyce issue? Should you not be reporting it on the Qucs issue board?
