Irradiance models should be able to account for

  • module transparency: which will lead to some of the direct light to pass through the PV rows to the shaded ground due to the modules not being completely opaque
  • module spacing: which will lead to some of the direct light to pass through the PV rows to the shaded ground due to the spacing between the PV modules in the PV rows

Use the opportunity to provide more details about the irradiance models in the documentation.
