This is an implementation of the backend of lavalite, which can be used for web based application and Content Management System based upon Laravel 4 and Twitter Bootstrap 3
Lavalitw was designed to run on a machine with PHP 5.5 and MySQL 5.5.
- PHP 5.4.7+.
- You will need Composer installed to load the dependencies of Lavalite.
- You will need bower for installing javascript libraries.
Please check the system requirements before installing Lavalite.
- You may install by cloning from github, or via composer.
- Github:
git clone git@github.com:LavaLite/cms.git- From a command line open in the folder, run
composer install.
- From a command line open in the folder, run
- Composer:
composer create-project LavaLite/cms path 2.2.*
- Then, run
bower installto install javascript libraries. - Enter your database details into
app/config/database.php. - Run
php artisan migrateto setup your database. - Run
php artisan db:seed --class=LavaliteTableSeederto seed your database. - You will need to enter your mail server details into
app/config/mail.php. - You will need to configure the site in the app/config folder before production.
- Finally, setup an Apache VirtualHost to point to the "public" folder.
- For development, you can simply run
php artisan serve
####Permissions Lavalite may require one set of permissions to be configured: folders within app/storage require write access by the web server.
####Paths Several of the framework directory paths are configurable. To change the location of these directories, check out the bootstrap/paths.php file.
