This project aims to connect an Ergotopia table with Home Assistant. Therefore it uses an D1 Mini (ESP 8266) with ESPHome (External Component) as man in the middle between the desk controller and the desk interface.
The work is done here by Mahko_Mahko and ssieb: https://community.home-assistant.io/t/desky-standing-desk-esphome-works-with-desky-uplift-jiecang-assmann-others/383790/18?page=11
Opposed to the original project I used a a RJ45 Double Sockets to 8 Pins board. Both RJ45 Sockets are wired to each other so they can passthrough any signal. I used a adapter from Penglin I bought on Amazon
The build setup is basicly the same just skipping the step of integrating another cable into the rj45 socket.
I also created a very basic mount for holding and mounting the whole thing under a table.
