"dram" in coal mining?

edit

I've just went through a text about coal mining and it's constantly mentioning the word "dram", could anyone give me a hand and tell me what's the meaning of the word in this context? And, of course, add it to the entry. Thanks anyway --213.97.221.17 16:29, 16 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Middle English

The Middle English Dictionary has trimes meaning a "dram" of weight rather than a coin, but it isn't clear on which exact dram was intended. Any ideas where to put it in the translation tables? — LlywelynII 13:54, 13 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
