History
editOn the December 22, 2023, episode of SmackDown, Karrion Kross and Scarlett appeared in a vignette, stating that they had formed a new alliance, but without revealing the identities of their new associates.[1] Subsequently on January 5, 2024, at SmackDown: New Year's Revolution, Kross, accompanied by Scarlett, attacked The Pride (Bobby Lashley, Angelo Dawkins, and Montez Ford) with help from AOP (Akam and Rezar) and Paul Ellering, who officially made their return to WWE, confirming their alliance as a stable called The Final Testament.[2] On Night 2 of WrestleMania XL, the stable lost against The Pride in a Philadelphia Street Fight, ending their feud.[3] On the following episode of NXT, The Final Testament made their NXT return with AOP attacking Axiom and Nathan Frazer, who had just won the NXT Tag Team Championship from Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker.[4] On Night 2 of the 2024 WWE Draft, The Final Testament were drafted to the Raw brand.[5] During Week 2 of NXT: Spring Breakin', AOP failed to defeat Axiom and Frazer for the NXT Tag Titles after interference from New Catch Republic.[6]
After being drafted to Raw, The Final Testament began to drive wedges into various teams across the brand; after successfully turning The New Day against one another (with Kross implying Kofi Kingston was holding Xavier Woods back from a successful singles career)[7][8] and then doing the same with Awesome Truth (allying with The Miz in the process),[9] The Final Testament then began to be targeted by The Wyatt Sicks (Uncle Howdy, Erik Rowan, Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis, and Nikki Cross).[10] On the December 9 episode of Raw, The Final Testament and The Miz defeated The Wyatt Sicks in an eight-man tag team match, ending their feud.[11] The stable was then disbanded as of February 7, 2025, when it was reported that AOP and Ellering were released from their WWE contracts.[12]
