We propose to start the Spartina alterniflora page to describe its biology and impacts as an invasive species as seen in California. Please add information from other regions. We will post on Dec. 9, 2005, along with adding a link on the Cordgrass page and a smooth cordgrass pointer page to Spartina alterniflora.--PBG250 23:54, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
We've moved a lot of the information on S. alterniflora from this page to its own page. Right now, a lot of the information on S. anglica and the S. alterniflora x S. foliosa hybrids is on here, but maybe they should get their own page, instead of being on S. alterniflora? Not sure what would be most search- and user-friendly.PBG250 19:03, 1 January 2006 (UTC)
- I'd think the first para "The greatest problems derive from ...." (which mentions several species but primarily S. anglica) would be better retained here or moved to the S. anglica page; the other para I'd agree with the move to the S. alterniflora page - MPF 22:49, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
