Restaurants

edit

The New York Times obituary says that The Ginger Man changed its name to O'Neal's in 1993. But that is contradicted by the Times' own articles, as a search on the free website indicates. There are articles showing both operated by O'Neal at the same time.--Stetsonharry (talk) 23:21, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Word War II

edit

During World War II, he directed short training films while in the Air Force.

He was about 13 when WWII started and about 18 when it ended. Seems a bit young for a director in the Air Force? Devon1980 (talk) 17:41, 10 July 2011 (UTC) Timeline given doesn't seem to be plausible. Born 1927, graduated from college, served in WW 2? Someone born in 1927 would have graduated from high school in 1945. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.121.169.185 (talk) 05:38, 4 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

My husband was the same age and graduated from high school in 1945, and immediately joined the Navy for 2 years. Quite possible O'neal did the same thing and then, like my husband, went to university. 2603:8000:B0F0:8170:E843:9DBC:ECEB:2816 (talk) 05:44, 30 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
