Honorary membership in NSBE
editNo citation was provided for the reference to a 2006 honorary membership in the NSBE. A search of the NSBE website produced only one hit for Surma, namely: "United States Steel Corporation and its chairman and CEO, John P. Surma, have signaled their commitment to this program by U.S. Steel's purchase of the first-ever Golden Torch Awards Diamond Sponsorship." It is possible that the NSBE did award him an honorary membership in 2006 that is not reflected on their website, but it is less likely. A quick search in Lexis/Nexis of (1) US newspapers and wire services, and (2) Magazines combined for the past two years (2006-2007) retrieved no hits linking the NSBE and Surma. The entry concerning the honorary membership in the NSBE will be removed if not sourced. --Bejnar (talk) 22:12, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
