Hello. Was this article written by someone who dislikes Anne Graham? I stumbled upon this link while reading about another person and I noticed it has negative undertones. Given that I didn't know she existed until 2 minutes ago, it felt critical and castigating. One example would be this excerpt:

Lotz "became" a Christian at the age of about eight years old after having been indoctrinated by her parents for years and watching The King of Kings, a Cecil B. DeMille film, on Good Friday.

Became is the correct wording for someone who chooses to be a Christian. If used in any other way, these quotation marks add doubt and uncertainty. Why is the article writer uncertain about that?

The use of the word indoctrinated also has a negative connotation. Anything we learn as children can be considered indoctrination, from how we pull our socks to how we do our hair. This word seems inappropriate, nicer alternatives are "taught" or "instructed".

Few things are worse than a biased Wikipedia article. We don't have to like any of these people or topics. SeleneMarie (talk) 20:17, 29 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

This was simple vandalism, which wasn't caught (it was done in February) but has now been reverted. StAnselm (talk) 21:14, 29 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Discrepency

edit

In the Early Life section it says she married Dr. Daniel Lotz on September 9, 1966. Under Death of Spouse, it says "Lotz's husband, Daniel Lotz, 78, died on August 19, 2015. He was discovered unresponsive in their backyard swimming pool two days before their 49th anniversary." The dates do not match up as two days apart - it's closer to 3 weeks.
