Opening comment
editAs a comment, the article is mainly fluff added by an WP:SPA. However, it's a big venture firm that's certainly notable. Improvement in the form of encyclopedic tone and sourced content would be very welcome. I've deleted a couple sentences that are identical to a press release, and also unencyclopedic. The entire article is suspicious in that regard. Thanks, Wikidemon (talk) 17:58, 13 November 2008 (UTC)

I don't want to violate any Wikipedia editing restrictions, so I'm submitting this request. Norwest changed its logo. The font changed, and it no longer includes the "Venture Partners" tagline. Please see here for the new logo. Can someone upload it and replace it in the article? LBTWest (talk) 00:01, 14 February 2024 (UTC)

Hi - Thanks for updating the logo. I'm back with a few other edit requests, to update the article. The changes update the number of companies the firm has backed and the total assets in the infobox, adds its most recent fund to the history, and adds two notable companies to the list of notable investments.
1) Please update the last sentence of the first paragraph with the following.
− | The firm has funded more than | + | The firm has funded more than 700 companies since inception.
|
2) Please change the $12.5 billion total assets in the infobox to $15.5 billion, per this source.[2]
3) Please add this sentence and its source to the end of the history section:
4) Please add Avetta and Vuori to the notable investments section. Here's the text with sources.
− | Notable investments for Norwest include: Adaptive Insights, Casper, Dairy Queen, Cray Dave, Kendra Scott, Opendoor, Plaid, Spotify, Uber, Talkspace, Udemy, | + | Notable investments for Norwest include: Adaptive Insights, Avetta, Casper, Dairy Queen, Cray Dave, Kendra Scott, Opendoor, Plaid, Spotify, Uber, Talkspace, Udemy, Vuori, and Wiliot.

It's too long to post the entire section in the box, but hopefully you can easily copy it from the raw text.
