Station details
editLocation
editThe station is located on Jalan Sungai Besi next to the Pekan Sungai Besi and is accessible from Pangsapuri Permai and PPR Raya Permai via a linkbridge.
Sri Petaling Line
editIt was first opened in 1996, along with 17 other LRT stations along the LRT line. The principal styling of Sungai Besi LRT Station is similar to most other stations in the line, featuring multi-tiered roofs supported by latticed frames, and white plastered walls and pillars.
Putrajaya Line
editThe MRT station is opened to public on 16 March 2023, along with 23 other stations from Batu Kentonmen to Putrajaya. This station is one of five elevated-to-elevated interchange stations in the country, after Titiwangsa, KL Sentral, Putra Heights and Kwasa Damansara. It is also one of the four stations in the Putrajaya Line to have side platforms as most stations in the Putrajaya Line have adopted the concept of island platforms.
Planned interchange
editThe station will also be integrated with the proposed Maju KL KTM Komuter station on the Seremban Line.
