English: Aboard USS Winston S. Churchill (DDG 81) Aug. 5, 2002 -- Close up view of the shaft driver propeller under the port side stern of the US Navy (USN) ARLEIGH BURKE CLASS (FLIGHT IIA) GUIDED MISSILE DESTROYER (AEGIS), USS WINSTON S. CHURCHILL (DDG 81) as water and air are forced through the propellers of the Churchill to test the ship's Prairie system that reduces sound level generated by cavitation from the screws while underway. The ship is near the end of a $25 million Post Shakedown Availability (PSA) at Bath Iron Works in Bath, Maine.
