An Overview of Applying Cloud computing in Addressing Aglie Global Software Development Challenges

With increasing interest for agile global software development (AGSD) as a main stream in software industry and entrepreneurship in recent years many efforts has emerged to overcome the complex challenges in this area. These challenges exist because collocated software development prescribed in agile development is not easily applicable in distributed software development which might include temporal, geographical and linguistic diversity. However, in several studies, cloud computing (CC) has mentioned as a way to address the challenges of AGSD by adopting recent advances in virtualization, software services and distributed computing. In this paper we present findings and dark corners of adopting CC in facing known challenges and difficulties of AGSD among recent published papers, reports and case studies to clarify pitfalls and future study roadmaps for academic and industrial purposes
