Abstract:

This paper discusses about the issue of information literacy in a sample of Iranian students using a survey. The results of the study indicate that many students in the sample suffer from a type of non-literacy based on a their previous skills and expectations. Also managerial acts for resolving the main issue of the information literacy in academies are discussed.
