Gejiu (个旧; Gèjiù) is the capital of Honghe prefecture in Yunnan, China with population about 140 000.

[edit]Every day lot of buses from Kunming, ¥80, takes 4-6hours (depends how driver follow rules).
Get around
[edit]Buses around city for ¥1 with oldschool wooden seats. Mostly same/similar route going through center - Lake Jin.

[edit]- Jin lake (金湖; jin hu). A lake in the middle of city. You cannot miss it! There are some parks around, Jinhu Culture Square (金湖文化广场; jinhu wenhua guangchang)
- Manhao scenic spot (曼耗风景名胜区; manhao fengjing mingshengqu). Baohua park, Baiyun mountain, Datun lake.
