Joseph F. Smith

Joseph Fielding Smith, Sr. (November 13, 1838November 19, 1918), usually known as Joseph F. Smith to distinguish him from his son of the same name, was the sixth President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was the last President of the Church to have personally known the founder of the Mormon faith, Joseph Smith, Jr., who was also his uncle.
