"Vroom Vroom" is a song by English singer Charli XCX from her 2016 EP of the same name.
Release
[edit]On 20 October 2015, Charli XCX hosted a radio show on Beats 1 where she previewed "Vroom Vroom" for the first time.[1][2] The music video for "Vroom Vroom" was released on 22 April 2016[3] and included cameos by Sophie, A.G. Cook, and Hannah Diamond.[4]
Critical reception
[edit]In an infamous review for Pitchfork, Laura Snapes wrote that the song "sounds like a rickety clown car whose horn toots Missy [Elliott]'s 'The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly)'—a blocky, disjointed paean to fast rides and good times."[5][6]
