Welcome to Wikipedia, RedBot! I am Marek69 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

On the Paulo Thiago article the fight with Mike Swick the submission is called a brabo choke. Swick's leg was hooked when Paulo applied the d'arce therefore making it a Brabo Choke. Please check sherdog before editing submission names.

I have not the slightest idea of what you are talking about. RedBot only changed the interwiki-link to the german wikipedia. --RedBot (talk) 12:03, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hanta

[edit]

The bot is incorrectly linking mg:Hanta to en:Hantavirus and others. I've added {{bots}}, but I see no indication that RedBot is exclusion compliant. LeadSongDog come howl! 16:45, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the message. RedBot is exlusion compliant. --Redf0x (talk) 17:31, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Port Orange

[edit]

The bot is continuously adding a foreign language entry to the City of Port Orange, Florida wikipedia entry. It would be good for this to stop. User:AMMalena 22:13, 13 July 2012 (EST)

Why do you think this link to the farsi wikipedia is wrong? The article it links to is about Port Orange in Florida. --Redf0x (talk) 06:59, 16 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If so, then perhaps a comment to the right or reference-linked, in English, since it is the English Wikipedia, would be appropriate, as I keep posting in my Undo edits. User:AMMalena 11:33, 16 July 2012 (EST)

The edit was done by an interwiki-bot. Interwiki-bots don't cite reasons and they don't have to. The reason for each and every edit an interwiki-bot does is that there is an interwiki-link in one article in a certain language to an article in another language. -- Redf0x (talk) 18:02, 16 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You are saying "a bot did it so it's okay". I don't agree. Especially when posting something over 99% of those reading the article (those who use the English Wikipedia) won't understand. Is there a citing of where this is appropriate for Wiki entries? User:AMMalena 23:30, 16 July 2012 (EST)

Hi there RED, AL from Portugal here,

i leave your trusted bot with the following message: please don't re-add the Spanish version of this footballer's article, it leads to a Portuguese jurist from the 16th century, thus wrong. I have browsed the Spanish wiki in search of the Barbosa footballer's article, they do not have it (yet).

Keep up the good work, happy weekend - --AL (talk) 23:51, 15 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
