Hello, I'm GorillaWarfare. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Kellyanne Conway, but you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. GorillaWarfare (talk) 04:15, 20 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Tweets and TikTok videos are not reliable sources, particularly not for contentious claims about living people. GorillaWarfare (talk) 04:16, 20 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A cup of coffee for you!

Thanks for adding news to RTS,S, which MainlyTwelve then passed along to the article for the malaria vaccine. I really appreciate you bringing new information and sources to Wikipedia so quickly after it was published. Blue Rasberry (talk) 01:06, 7 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in List of transport megaprojects, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. SounderBruce 21:27, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks so much! Wasn't aware of the MOS conventions on state wikilinks, etc. I'll work on eliminating the rest of those from List of transport megaprojects (in such a way as to mirror your changes). Henrygg98 (talk) 22:44, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Croatian name, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tvrtko. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:02, 9 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Te Atatū

[edit]

Kia ora Henrygg98, there used to be an article at Te Atatū that I specifically removed and replaced with a disambig page. It was duplicating content from both suburb articles, and not really adding anything of value. Did you have any thoughts on this? --Prosperosity (talk) 03:12, 20 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Yeah, right now the problem seems to be that the vast majority of sources don't seem to point specifically to either suburb specifically. I do a lot of disambiguation work, and I was able to clear up just 3 of the 20 pages that pointed to Te Atatū (disambiguation). In my research on the subject, I also saw at least one source that indicated that the two suburbs used to not be viewed as distinct at all but, rather, were just referred to as one neighborhood. It also seems that at least some news sources will just refer to "Te Atatū" without specifying which of the two is relevant.
I'm not quite sure what the best solution here would be. It almost seems like it might be best to combine the two pages, but I do feel like that might be doing them a disservice. Perhaps we should just leave the large number of disambiguation links as-is? I'm not sure what the protocol is for this kind of scenario.
Also, this isn't as generally applicable, but I thought it was funny. The government of Auckland/NZ is currently building an express bus stop in Te Atatū – and the reason I haven't specified which suburb is because one of the directions has its stop in Te Atatū South, and the other has its stop in Te Atatū Peninsula. Oh and also, of course – kia ora! :) Henrygg98 (talk) 03:29, 20 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
