Cobra

[edit]

Hey, thank you for adding the plot summaries. I've readded your descriptions to the episode list page so I don't think it's necessary to add into the main page. Just be aware of WP:A&M/RS and remember that WP:TVPLOT recomends that the summary should be 100–200 words for each episode. Regards, Gabriel Yuji (talk) 01:31, 15 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks - I appreciate you checking as well . I shortened them a bit to make them more succinct. Trying to finish the List of Space Cobra episodes this week. Ozflashman (talk) 13:07, 21 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

D.Gray-man copyedit

[edit]

Hello, Ozflashman. I've seen you editing various lists about D.Gray-man series. I have plans to nominate the main article, D.Gray-man, to GA but my English is not pretty good. Could you copyedit? If you can't don't worry. I'll just keep the request in the guild of copyeditors. Regards and good work.Tintor2 (talk) 02:47, 26 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, just trying to improve the quality of the pages. I'm happy to copyedit, but not familiar with the process, can you give me some info? Ozflashman (talk) 12:38, 26 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Well, it's just fishing my grammar issues since my first language is Spanish so I tend to make many typos. So just check one section, find a mistake and correct. Since the main article is so big I don't suggest going all out in one day. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 02:01, 27 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Please see my comments on the D.Gray-man Talk page. I think this discussion should move there. Ozflashman (talk) 11:27, 27 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Bill Snow

[edit]

Hi, I'm Slatersteven. Ozflashman, thanks for creating Bill Snow!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Independent of the subject might help.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Roy Mustang

[edit]

I noticed you have been editing the Fullmetal Alchemist list and wondered if this might interest you. The article Roy Mustang has quite enough creation and reception (with one source being from an scholar) so I wondered if it could become a GA. However, it apparently has problems with its prose and I can request one copyedit because I already requested two for Dante (Devil May Cry) and Nero (Devil May Cry). If you are interested in working in Mustang's article, you are free to edit it or nominate it. Anyways, happy editing and nice work on the Brotherhood list.Tintor2 (talk) 15:50, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the feedback on the List of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood episodes - my aim is to keep the flavour of the existing summary while trying to clean up the grammar and syntax, and removing some of the extraneous details. I've looked at the the three character articles; Edward Elric, Alphonse Elric, Roy Mustang, Scar (Fullmetal Alchemist) and Winry Rockbell. and they could all could do with some grammatical clean-up. I would suggest that all 5 articles should be done as a bloc. I am interested in working on those articles, however at the moment I'm involved in a couple of other projects and my time is limited, so it may be a while before I get to them. Ozflashman (talk) 03:44, 12 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
No prob. While I only worked on Edward's GA, Alphonse's article was mostly edited by another user.Tintor2 (talk) 22:46, 12 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

List of Golden Kamuy episodes

[edit]

Hi, you can certainly go back and add key information that I may have removed, but per WP:PLOTSUMNOT, a plot summary should not be a recap or a 1:1 summary of every scene of a story. A plot summary should simply explain the story, not attempt to re-create the experience or emotions of the original work. Morgan695 (talk) 20:23, 14 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I am well aware of that, as you can see by some of my contributions (see: Monster Episodes, however my point was that there is often more to an episode than just the events, there is background material (eg. Ainu culture) and scene-setting for events in past or future episodes that are crucial to the overall plot. I may add some details back into List of Golden Kamuy episodes, but it's now a big job. The content was substantially used, but I thought not strictly verbatim. However, the main objective is to provide some context for the characters, and your edited version essentially does that. If I have time, I may "flesh" out the descriptions, but it's a low priority. Ozflashman (talk) 02:54, 21 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Psycho-Pass

[edit]

I didn't know you also happened to like Psycho-Pass too. In case you are interested, I tried giving the [[Psycho-Pass: The Movie |2015 movie]] a big expansion in the past months and it was later copyedited. Feel free to nominate to GA in case you are interested. I'm busy with the article Jin Kazama now. By the way, I'm not sure what you think about the article Shogo Makishima since while the journalists provided some commentary about his role in the first season, the article is not that big. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 21:46, 16 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I'll have a close look at the article when I have time. I note though, that a number of statements are made in the introduction that are unsupported by references which should be rectified. Ozflashman (talk) 09:10, 17 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Psycho-Pass: The Movie Ozflashman (talk) 06:59, 18 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I tried revising the lead. BTW, was printed material besides Inspector Shinya Kogami released in English regions? I think Wikipedia lacks coverage of the all mangas and novels (I found out about them through the wiki) but I don't know if it's possible kind of like a an article titled "List of Psycho-Pass printed material". I heard the first manga was at least published in Spain.Tintor2 (talk) 20:59, 19 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
BTW, I found staff about the writers for both the second and third Psycho-Pass series. I added them also to the episode list based on how detailed is the the recent FL List of Banana Fish episodes. Feel free to check it. Anyways, Merry Christmas.Tintor2 (talk) 21:45, 23 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Merry Christmas. BTW, I created an article for Arata Shindo since there was so much real world information. Still, it kinda needs a copyedit sinbce it's kinda new. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 12:35, 26 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I am aka luxartisan and act as the Admin for the Psycho-Pass wikia. Please accept this message as a request to use your episode summaries as part of its official articles. You're an excellent writer and the summaries you have provided for S3 are succinct and accurate. I would like to use them in place of the synopses currently taken from the Amazon site. Another editor has written extensive summaries, but I think a terse summary at the head of the article would be a good addition to each episode. I would be happy to credit you in any way you deem appropriate. Of course you are welcome to edit anything else on the wikia, as well. Thank you for your consideration in this regard. Ouranista (talk) 04:32, 3 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Happy for you to use the summaries, just credit Wikipedia. This is a complex series and difficult to summarise effectively. I think the Psycho-Pass wikia provides an excellent adjunct to Wikipedia with more detailed information than is possible for Wikipedia to include. Ozflashman (talk) 11:52, 3 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I will credit Wikipedia and add the summaries today. Ouranista (talk) 13:14, 3 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know if you are interested in character articles but I have been expanding Thorfinn (Vinland Saga) since last year but since there is so much commentary from the author himself, I ended up creating a section for his characterizaton similar to some Evangelion GAs like Shinji Ikari among others.
