A Reader's Opinion

[edit]
This text which enthralls only delirious minds, or patients down with incurable mental malaria should not be taught in Engineering Colleges. I admit most humbly that it is a work of art, based on years of mental fatigue, but it is hardly a piece for consideration and ceratinly sub- mid-importance. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.225.80.136 (talk) 05:33, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect publication date

[edit]

The Picador edition shown in the infobox (copy in hand, same ISBN and cover) states on its copyright page "First published in Great Britain 1996 by Picador . . ." but only after "First published 1996 by Ravi Dayal Publisher, New Delhi". I will correct the date to 1996, and replace the citation to Openlibrary.org whose link appears inoperative and is clearly incorrect. I suggest combining details of the 1st British edition with the country of First World publication, India, is misleading. Details, including jacket, of the Indian edition would be preferable: they can be found in the book's entry in the Internet Speculative Fiction Database. {The poster formerly known as 87.81.230.195} 94.6.86.81 (talk) 16:35, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
