Bailey's Peninsula as an Island
[edit]It's not clear that the creation of the Lake Washington Ship Canal has any connection to Bailey's Peninsula ever changing from an island to a peninsula. Many maps at the Seattle Public Library show Bailey's Peninsula in the early 1890's, well before any leveling from canals might have been achieved. Jeffme (talk) 20:00, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
Torii
[edit]If anyone is working further on this article, this article Iconic Japanese torii to be restored by Paul Talbert, president of the Friends of Seward Park, looks worth following up. - Jmabel | Talk 06:13, 2 March 2013 (UTC)
