Archers Reference

[edit]

Personally, I wouldn't associate mummerset with "the archers". One or two characers might talk that way, but the ficitious county of Borsetshire is somewhere in the Midlands, isn't it? Rob Burbidge 12:50, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dialect vs Accent

[edit]

Technically a dialect is a variant with grammatical differences whereas an accent is merely a variant of pronunciation. Standard English is a dialect and RP is an accent, for example. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.216.170.104 (talk) 21:52, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
