title?

[edit]

I can find no evidence of the book being published under this title (not in Granta's website, COPAC catalogue, Worldcat), although it's used as the English title in a lot of references to the book (ghits). I've tweaked the wording to reflect this.

There's a new stub article at the US title Hunger Angel, which I think needs to be merged with this article. Not sure which of the three titles is then the appropriate one to use. (Should be at The Hunger Angel, anyway, so make that 4 titles!) PamD 16:22, 16 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposal

[edit]

No need to have two separate articles about the one work: translations should be included in an article which is fundamentally about the book as written by its author. Not sure which title the article should be at - possibly "Atemschaukel". When the dust settles, the author template may need to be edited to have a direct link to wherever this article ends up, rather than via any redirect. PamD 16:33, 16 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, FWIW. -- Foofy (talk) 08:43, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I disagree. Translations are fundamentally different books. None can accurately capture the original. This version si better than the other but not really good by any interpretation of good.

Unable to find evidence for a translation under this title. WorldCat, OpenLibary, LibraryThing, Amazon -- all come up empty. In any case, we don't have separate articles for different translations of the same book. Merging these two articles under the most common translation title per MoS on books. -- Green Cardamom (talk) 04:58, 7 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
