Summary

Description
English: Karst spring of 2 km long river Timavo (slov.: sl:Timava) near Golfo di Panzano at San Giovanni di Duino. In Slovenia river Reka submerges in a gigantic Ponor of Škocjan Caves and emerges after approximately 38 km as Foce del Timavo. After 2 km it flows into a kanal of Monfalcone harbour (region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia) and the Adriatic Sea.
