Description |
English: This painting has been enlarged at the top and is an old copy. The boar's head was redone during the restoration of 1990–93. In the background the ark and various animals moving towards it can be seen. The motif of the parrots derives from Snyders, Paul's brother-in-law (see a painting in Grenoble, traditionally attributed to Snyders but today attributed to Paul de Vos). |
