Comment: This uniform is not entirely authentic! 1) the blue infantry cord worn around the right arm did not exist in 1944, it was first authorized in 1952; 2) the branch insignia for Armor (crossed sabers with a Pershing tank in front) was not introduced until the Korean War—in WWII Armor Branch insignia was a side-view of a tank; 3) if he were an Armor lieutenant, he would not be eligible to wear the Combat Infantry Badge (blue rectangle with side view of rifle superimposed, surrounded by garland); 4) the expert weapons qualification badge he wears on his left pocket is a style introduced during the Vietnam War and is in present use, the Army weapons qualifications badges in WWII more closely resembled what Marines presently wear::In summary, this uniform is cobled together from items worn over 30 years, but never worn together: e.g., the brown uniform was long gone before the weapons qualification badge he wears was ever introduced. IT’S NOT A WWII UNIFORM, ITS NOT A UNIFORM ANY SOLDIER EVER WORE.
