The 2018 Spikers’ Turf Open Conference is the revival conference of the Spikers' Turf. After the 2016 season of the Spikers' Turf, its affiliate league, the Premier Volleyball League (PVL), assumed the tournaments of the Spikers' Turf under its men's division until the collegiate conference of year 2018. The tournament began on October 6, 2018[1] at the Blue Eagle Gym, Ateneo de Manila University campus, Quezon City, Philippines.[2]

Pool standing procedure

  1. Number of matches won
  2. Match points
  3. Sets ratio
  4. Points ratio
  5. If the tie continues as per the point ratio between two teams, the priority will be given to the team which won the last match between them. When the tie in points ratio is between three or more teams, a new classification of these teams in the terms of points 1, 2 and 3 will be made taking into consideration only the matches in which they were opposed to each other.

Match won 3–0 or 3–1: 3 match points for the winner, 0 match points for the loser
Match won 3–2: 2 match points for the winner, 1 match point for the loser.

Final round

The number 1 seeded Sta. Elena-NU pulled out of the conference after advancing in the semi-finals to represent the Philippines in the 2018 ASEAN University Games in Myanmar. Cignal HD Spikers and Philippine Air Force Aguilas will play a one-game knockout match to determine the team that will face the PLDT Home Power Hitters in the finals. PLDT has twice-to-beat advantage in the finals.[11]
