原情

     Jeon'il hwan'gung hu, yu yeollo gyeok jaeng wonjeong. Jik wi bong'ip ji ryeong. [Sino-Korean]

     On the day before, having returned to the palace, there had been on the royal road a beating of the gong in petition [to the king]. Straightforwardly, [the king] ordered it accepted.

     Dokso mi cheol, geohwa eo Namsan, i wonjeong ip cheol. [Sino-Korean]

     His memorial that he had submitted alone had not been accepted, so he lit a bonfire at Namsan. His petition was thereby accepted.
