[edit]- The most common form of this word is the plural אֲשָׁכִים (ashakhím). The dual form is very rare and does not exist in modern Hebrew.
- While the proper singular is אֶשֶׁךְ (éshekh), the non-standard pronunciation אָשָׁךְ (ashákh) is far more common.
