Computer science for elementary school teachers

Published: 01 February 1976 Publication History

Abstract

The time line for significant changes in public education is long, and introduction of computers into education is not proving an exception to this. The circumstances that have contributed to relatively rapid progress in introducing computers in higher education do not exist at the pre-college level. This paper concentrates on the problems of computers in elementary education, and suggests several partial solutions to these problems.
