Research on the Adjustment and Improvement of the Ship Warranty Mechanism of the Chinese Navy

Published: 19 May 2020 Publication History

Abstract

Warranty is an important means for the Chinese army to introduce maintenance resources from private contractors. In order to optimize the ship warranty system of the Chinese Navy, this paper analyzes the problems and defects of the current ship warranty system of the Chinese Navy, and then explores the optimization path of the ship warranty system of the Chinese Navy combined with the ship warranty practice of the armed forces in Taiwan and abroad. The research shows that there are many hidden dangers in the short warranty period for ships. Prolonging the warranty period of ships can bring important military benefits and promote the generation and maintenance of the combat effectiveness of the fleet. The relevant academic departments of the Chinese Navy should carry out the demonstration and Optimization Research on the warranty period of ships as soon as possible.
