Research on Cold Chain Food Logistics Traceability Method Based on Big Data Technology

Published: 09 July 2024 Publication History

Abstract

The COVID-19 epidemic has aroused the attention of all social fields on the traceability of food cold logistics. In November, 2020, the National Health and Wellness Commission proposed to establish and improve the traceability management system of cold chain food composed of domestic platforms at all levels, and issued the Notice on Further Improving the Traceability Management of Cold Chain Food. In view of this, this paper adopts the theory of logistics management to study this topic. Firstly, this paper defines the concepts of cold chain logistics, big data and food safety traceability system, and expounds the relevant basic theories. Secondly, this paper analyzes the current situation of cold chain logistics and food cold chain logistics traceability from the relevant laws and regulations issued by the state and the societies of cold chain logistics, and concludes that there is a lack of effective communication and coordination in data standardization. The credibility of data isn't guaranteed and problems of insufficient data interoperability often arise. Based on the above, this paper takes a glance at the literature review of traceability process, and re-defines the cold chain food traceability system from its own perspective. On the one hand, the algorithm logic of how to implement the traceability system and the expected effect achieved by its functions are analyzed to its full swing; on the other hand, big data technology makes it possible to combine multi-source information such as spectrum, isotopes, mineral elements and all stages of the food supply chain into an organic cold chain traceability system.
