Identifying problem frames for location-based services

Abstract

Advancement in sensing technology and wireless infrastructure provide a promising way for a variety of location-based services. Location identification with high accuracy is the basic need for providing location-based services. The presence of various positioning technologies and location providers is raising several issues to locate a user for the software developers. To simplify the problem domain, it is important to identify the possible problem classes or patterns that can be reused to identify the location of the target user. Development of location-based services is a complex task involves various domains and concerns. It is important to identify the related domains and concerns for these kinds of services. This paper describes the application of problem frames approach to identify the problem classes or patterns for location-based services. This paper also discusses related domains and frame concerns for location-based services.
